I put it in quotations because it's not actually banana pudding at all, but it gives you a little of the same effect and it's a seemingly decadent way to start your morning. :)
You'll Need:
- Greek yogurt
- a banana
- your favorite granola or whole grain cereal
- honey
Slice off 3/4 of the banana and put it on a plate. Mash it like you were making banana bread.
Dish out 1/4 cup of the Greek yogurt and put it in your serving bowl. Then pour in the mashed banana.
Stir it up nicely until it's creamy and combined, then top with your granola (i used our kashi cereal since it was on our "what we bought" list), slice up the remainder of the banana and drizzle with some luscious honey... serve!
In my book, this is a quintessential Recitherapy recipe... it's healthy, it's simple and it's DELICIOUS! Whoever said that eating well had to taste bad and consist of weird ingredients that no one has? " 'Not I,' said the Fly."
Indulge in something a little more delicious this morning... It's gonna be a great day.
